Ivey Puts Lee to the Test
Level 8
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Heads up on a flop of 3♥4♦J♥, Wai Kiat Lee checked from the big blind, and Phil Ivey bet ~12,000 from the cutoff. Lee decided he wanted to play for more and check-raised to 28,000. Ivey called.
After Lee checked the 10♥ turn, Ivey asked to see his stack, which amounted to 129,000. Ivey bet enough to cover Lee, resulting in an immediate fold by Lee.
