Day 2 Completed
The €100,000 EPT Super High Roller at Casino Barcelona has reached its final day, with six players set to return and battle for one of the most prestigious titles of the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona. What began with 47 of the game’s elite has now been whittled down across two days of high-stakes action, leaving the final six guaranteed a slice of the massive €4,559,940 prize pool.
Leading the way is Espen Jorstad, who bagged an impressive 4,785,000 and will look to convert that momentum into another massive score in his career. Joining him are David Coleman (2,365,000), Leon Sturm (1,430,000), Aleksejs Ponakovs (1,280,000), Jesse Lonis (1,130,000), and Thailand’s Punnat Punsri (760,000).

| 5 | Jesse Lonis | United States | 1,130,000 | 28 |
| 6 | Punnat Punsri | Thailand | 760,000 | 19 |
Two-time defending champion Kayhan Mokri will not be part of the finale, as his bid for an unprecedented third straight victory came to an end late on Day 2. Mokri got involved in a big pot against countryman Jorstad, where he flopped trips but ran into turned full house of his opponent. After calling off the remainder of his stack on the river, Mokri was eliminated just shy of the money and his remarkable back-to-back run in this event was finally halted.
Shortly after, Bryn Kenney bowed out in ninth place, and Austria’s Thomas Muehloecker followed him in eighth. Both departed empty-handed, leaving the remaining field on the stone bubble. The bubble was finally burst when Germany’s Samuel Müller fell in seventh at the hands of Coleman, securing the remaining six a spot on day 3 and a huge min-cash.

Espen Jorstad made it 80,000 from the hijack, and Samuel Mullur three-bet to 355,000 from the button with 125,000 left behind in his stack. David Coleman, who was seated in the big blind, four-bet to 1,600,000. Jorstad got out of the way, and Mullur called for the remainder of his stack.
Samuel Mullur: A♥Q♠
David Coleman: A♠K♦
Mullur was unfortunate to run into the big slick of Coleman, and needed a queen from the dealer or he would be the bubble boy of the EPT Super High Roller.
A favorable flop of J♦Q♣4♦ came out for Mullur, who took the lead with a pair of queens. However, a 10♦ turn gave Coleman Broadway and meant Mullur required a king on the river to chop the pot. The Q♥ completed the board and didn't help Mullur. He was the last to leave the tournament empty-handed.
The remaining six players bagged up their chips for the day and are all in the money.

Thomas Muehloecker shoved for 165,000 from early position and Punnat Punsri called on the button. Espen Jorstad also called from the big blind.
Both active players checked the 7♣2♣9♠ flop to the 4♦ turn, where Jorstad bet 125,000. Punsri folded.
Thomas Muehloecker: K♠J♣
Espen Jorstad: 8♦8♣
Muehloecker needed a king or a jack on the river to stay alive, but the A♣ wasn't what he needed, which meant he was out in eighth.

Espen Jorstad raised to 60,000 from early position with Leon Sturm calling on the button, and Punnat Punsri defending his big blind.
Once Punsri checked a flop of Q♠K♥3♠, Jorstad bet 55,000, which only Sturm called.
An A♠ dropped on the turn and Jorstad fired again, this time for 220,000. Sturm stuck around to see the river.
The 9♣ completed the board and Jorstad jammed, covering Sturm. Sturm had 1,350,000 remaining in his stack and went into the tank while contemplating what to do. In the end, Sturm folded, and Jorstad dragged another healthy pot.
