Lonis Comes Out on Top in Three-Way All-In as Lee Eliminated
Level 9
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Wai Kiat Lee shoved the cutoff for 85,000 and Jesse Lonis reshoved from the button for 144,000. Nick Petrangelo asked for both counts to be confirmed and then shipped his stack in from the small blind, which left two players at risk.
Wai Kiat Lee: K♣Q♥
Jesse Lonis: A♣7♣
Nick Petrangelo: 9♥9♣
Petrangelo had the chance to knock out two players at once, but that seemed unlikely after the 3♣Q♠7♠ flop gave Lee top pair. The pocket nines of Petrangelo started preflop as the best of the three hands, but he fell into last place when the A♠ hit the turn, which gave Lonis two pair.
The 8♣ on the river changed nothing, which meant Lee hit the rail and Lonis almost tripled up.
