Ponakovs Keeps Firing

Aleksejs Ponakovs made it 17,000 from the hijack with Nick Petrangelo calling from the cutoff, and Jesse Lonis defending his big blind.

The K♠9♣9♦ flop revealed itself and Lonis started with a check. Ponakovs bet 15,000 that only Petrangelo called.

When Ponakovs fired a second barrel of 22,000 on the Q♥ turn, Petrangelo instantly folded, and Ponakovs was able to add some chips to his stack.

Tamas Adamszki has been eliminated from the tournament at another table, and now only 22 remain.
