Rezaei is the First Casualty of the EPT Super High Roller

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After losing the majority of his stack in the previous hand, Daniel Rezaei shoved for 15,000 from the small blind and got snapped off by Pieter Aerts out of the big blind.

Daniel Rezaei: KQ All in
Pieter Aerts: AQ

Rezaei was dominated by Aerts' ace-queen, although the Q29 flop catapulted him into the lead with a pair of queens. But, an A rolled off on the turn, giving Aerts top pair and Rezaei was one card away from the rail. The 2 completed the board and Rezaei was the first casualty of the day.

Mokri Gets Paid on Every Street By Rezaei

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Kayhan Mokri
Kayhan Mokri

Kayhan Mokri raised from middle position and Teun Mulder called on the button. Daniel Rezaei was in the big blind and pumped it up to 15,500, before Mokri four-bet to 40,000. Mulder folded, and after thinking a little, Rezaei called.

On the 844 flop, Rezaei check-called a bet of 21,500 from Mokri to the 9 turn, where again he went into check-call mode when Mokri bet 37,000.

A 5 filled out the board on the river and once Rezaei had checked for a third time, Mokri unloaded the clip with a bet of 130,000. Rezaei burned through two banks and then flicked in a chip to make the call.

Mokri then revealed he had turned the nut flush with A5, and Rezaei's cards hit the muck.

Kuznetsov Rivers a Queen

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The action was picked up on a board of 5829 with around 20,000 in the pot. Jason Koon had checked from the hijack and Nikita Kuznetsov fired 18,000 from the cutoff. Koon called.

A Q hit the river and after Koon checked, Kuznetsov threw out 32,000. Koon burned through a time bank and eventually called, then mucked when Kuznetsov flipped AQ for a pair of queens.

At the same time on another table, there were 23,500 in the pot on a 658Q2 board when Espen Jorstad checked and [Removed:548] bet the pot. Jorstad let it go.

Espen Jorstad raised to 2,000 from under the gun and Jesse Lonis three-bet the button to 7,500. Aleksejs Ponakovs came in with a cold four-bet to 20,000 from the big blind, which forced Jorstad to fold.

Lonis thought briefly, then five-bet to 59,500. Ponakovs burned through a time bank card and then gathered together a rare six-bet to 105,000. This got Lonis to lay his hand down, and Ponakovs pulled in a healthy pot preflop.

Lonis Drags an Early Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jesse Lonis made it 2,500 to go from under the gun and [Removed:548] called from the big blind.

Both checked all the way to the river on the 83936 board, where [Removed:549] led for 6,500. Lonis quickly called.

[Removed:549] then showed a pair of sevens with 77, but that was no good as Lonis had flopped a pair of eights with 85 to win the pot.
