Tungel Shows the Goods
Level 19
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
All other tables had already bagged up their chips while action was still ongoing on Table 8. Albert Grane raised to 20,000 in early position, and Lars Tungel called in the hijack.
Grane checked the J♠9♣9♦ flop and Tungel bet 30,000. Grane called, and the J♣ fell on the turn.
Tungel then bet 59,000, and Grane again called. The river was the Q♥ and Tungel bet 219,000.
Grane exchanged some words with a few of his table-mates who were chatting away as he went deep into the tank. He burned through multiple time banks, but eventually ended up folding.
"How much?" Tungel asked the rest of the table, and he slammed down Q♣J♦ for a full house as the bags were finally brought out, officially bringing Day 3 to a close.
