Modar Alsoud made a minimum raise to 300,000 under the gun, seeing Gerard Carbo defend his big blind.

Carbo check-called the 150,000 continuation-bet of Alsoud on the J♣8♦K♠ flop before the 3♦ turn and 6♦ river were checked down.

Carbo showed 8♥5♥, but his pair was no good against the A♥J♥ of Alsoud.

Gerard Carbo made it 400,000 in the small blind. Modar Alsoud sat in the big blind and called, as did he when Carbo bet 200,000 on the 5♥4♦3♥ flop.

Carbo slowed down on the 8♣ turn with a check. Alsoud fired a bet of 475,000, which Carbo called.

Both parties checked the A♦ river to showdown. Carbo confidently tabled A♠Q♦ for top pair, and he took down the pot when Alsoud's cards hit the muck.

Merijn van Rooij raised to 275,000 under the gun. Pierre Azzopardi then three-bet to 775,000 in the hijack, which Van Rooij called after some thought.

The flop fell Q♣7♣5♣. Van Rooij led with an all-in bet for 775,000, and Azzopardi wasted no time in calling. Once the other table had finished their hand, the players revealed their cards.

After losing a chunk to Gerard Carbo, Ioannis Oikonomidis looked to reclaim some lost chips.

He opened to 250,000 from the button and saw Modar Alsoud call from the small blind. Alsoud check-called for 275,000 on the 7♣4♥2♣ flop but check-folded to Oikonomidis' jam on the K♥ turn.

On the other table, Evaldas Aniulis raised to 250,000 from the button and called when Barny Boatman three-bet to 575,000 from the small blind.

Boatman continued for 700,000 on the Q♦3♦2♠ flop and was called. He moved all in for 1,875,000 on the 8♥ turn. Anuilis tanked for an eternity, and the clock was called. As the countdown reached the halfway point, he folded.
