Gerard Carbo had three-bet an earlier open to 68,000 in the small blind. Big blind Alberto Cigliano then made it 140,000 to go, which only Carbo called.
Cigliano continued for 65,000 on the K♣K♦J♣ flop. Carbo check-called to the 3♣ turn, where Cigliano put in another 100,000.
Carbo quickly flung his cards in the muck, forfeiting the pot to his neighbor.
With 190,000 already in the pot, Hugo De La Fouchardiere flicked in a small bet of 20,000 from the small blind on the J♠3♠2♦10♠ turn. Simone Demasi then raised to 80,000, which De La Fouchardiere called.
The 9♦ river was quickly checked by De La Fouchardiere, prompting Demasi to go all in for 265,000. De La Fouchardiere asked for a count before he went into the tank.
After about five minutes of thought, the clock was called on the Frenchman. The countdown was nearing its end when De La Fouchardiere tossed in some chips to signal a call.
Demasi showed the nut flush with A♠K♠, and De La Fouchardiere was forced to show his J♣10♦ as he paid off the bet.
Nuno Ferro raised to 27,000 from early position and was called by Antonin Hays from the small blind. The action was then on PokerStars' Kenny Hallaert, in the big blind, and he ripped in his stack of 325,000. Ferro called before Hays got out of the way.

On the next deal, Pierre Azzopardi raised to 25,000 from the cutoff. 2024 EPT Paris Main Event winner Barny Boatman called from the big blind.
The 9♦8♠6♦ flop checked through to the K♣ turn, where Boatman check-folded to a bet of 50,000.
Ashley Locker made it 25,000 in middle position, which Ioannis Oikonomidis three-bet to 62,000 on the button. Locker then moved in his stack of 245,000, which Oikonomidis immediately called.

Mohamed-Said Taghla opened to 25,000 out of his short stack and saw Lars Kamphues call from the big blind.
Kamphues check-called a bet of 12,000 on the A♥K♦8♦ flop but conceded the pot after he faced a bet of 40,000 on the 2♦ turn.
Hijack Kumar Ghosh and Ankit Ahuja in the cutoff got all their chips in the middle before the flop, with Ghosh's stack of 514,000 being at risk.

Ghosh flopped an ace on A♠3♣8♥ for a big lead over Ahuja's kings. The 8♠ turn left Ahuja with one out, and it did not arrive on the 6♣ river.
Ghosh soared to over a million in chips while Ahuja was left with just over 25 big blinds.
Mateusz Moolhuizen opened to 28,000 from the hijack and called when Daniele Degennaro made it 76,000 from the button.
On the A♦J♠2♥ flop, Moolhuizen check-raised to 140,000 over a bet of 61,000. Degennaro three-bet jammed as the bigger stack and Moolhuizen snap-called for his stack of 658,000.

Degennaro's top pair-top kicker was behind Moolhuizen's set of deuces. The J♣ turn gave the latter a full house but Degennaro was still live to the final two aces in the deck.
A no-sider appeared on the river, but it was the 3♥ and Moolhuizen became the chip leader.
