Alberto Cigliano
Alberto Cigliano

Gerard Carbo had three-bet an earlier open to 68,000 in the small blind. Big blind Alberto Cigliano then made it 140,000 to go, which only Carbo called.

Cigliano continued for 65,000 on the KKJ flop. Carbo check-called to the 3 turn, where Cigliano put in another 100,000.

Carbo quickly flung his cards in the muck, forfeiting the pot to his neighbor.

Demasi Doubles as Clock Called on De La Fouchardiere

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Simone Demasi
Simone Demasi

With 190,000 already in the pot, Hugo De La Fouchardiere flicked in a small bet of 20,000 from the small blind on the J3210 turn. Simone Demasi then raised to 80,000, which De La Fouchardiere called.

The 9 river was quickly checked by De La Fouchardiere, prompting Demasi to go all in for 265,000. De La Fouchardiere asked for a count before he went into the tank.

After about five minutes of thought, the clock was called on the Frenchman. The countdown was nearing its end when De La Fouchardiere tossed in some chips to signal a call.

Demasi showed the nut flush with AK, and De La Fouchardiere was forced to show his J10 as he paid off the bet.

Nuno Ferro raised to 27,000 from early position and was called by Antonin Hays from the small blind. The action was then on PokerStars' Kenny Hallaert, in the big blind, and he ripped in his stack of 325,000. Ferro called before Hays got out of the way.

Hallaert made a boat on the 444 flop to remain ahead. The Belgian faded the overcards as the board was completed by the 210.

On the next deal, Pierre Azzopardi raised to 25,000 from the cutoff. 2024 EPT Paris Main Event winner Barny Boatman called from the big blind.

The 986 flop checked through to the K turn, where Boatman check-folded to a bet of 50,000.

Ghosh flopped an ace on A38 for a big lead over Ahuja's kings. The 8 turn left Ahuja with one out, and it did not arrive on the 6 river.

Moolhuizen Takes Chip Lead Thanks to the Ducks

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Mateusz Moolhuizen
Mateusz Moolhuizen

Mateusz Moolhuizen opened to 28,000 from the hijack and called when Daniele Degennaro made it 76,000 from the button.

On the AJ2 flop, Moolhuizen check-raised to 140,000 over a bet of 61,000. Degennaro three-bet jammed as the bigger stack and Moolhuizen snap-called for his stack of 658,000.

Mateusz Moolhuizen: 22All in
Daniele Degennaro: AK

Degennaro's top pair-top kicker was behind Moolhuizen's set of deuces. The J turn gave the latter a full house but Degennaro was still live to the final two aces in the deck.

A no-sider appeared on the river, but it was the 3 and Moolhuizen became the chip leader.
