Tomasz Brzezinski raised his button to 350,000 with A♦3♦. Mykhailo Ostash looked down at 8♥7♥ in the big blind and decided to call. Brzezinski continued for 250,000 on the K♠6♥6♦ flop, which Ostash check-called.

The 4♦ turn was checked by both players, after which the 2♦ river completed the board. Ostash fired a bluff worth 325,000, but he quickly folded when Brzezinski raised his flush to 1,700,000.

Ostash Q♦J♥ made it 300,000, and Brzezinski K♦3♥ called from the big blind. Brzezinski check-raised his bottom pair to 1,050,000 over a bet of 325,000 on the 9♥8♣3♠ flop. Ostach called with his gutshot straight draw and two overs.

The 4♠ turn saw Brzezinski size up to 1,600,000, and Ostash remained sticky.

The 2♥ brick completed the board, and Brzezinski took the pot after it checked through to showdown.

Brzezinski checked again on the 7♥ turn, enticing Ostash to bet 250,000. Having turned the nuts, Brzezinski announced a raise to 850,000, which Ostash quickly called.

Brzezinski went for a pot-sized bet of 2,600,000 on the 8♦ river, but Ostash thought better of it and instantly released his ace-high.

With the whole room watching the big screens, the dealer fanned the A♥9♥K♣ flop, giving Ostash a big lead with a pair of kings. He improved to trips on the K♠ turn, and the 4♦ river failed to make Brzezinski a full house.

Ostash doubled up to a stack of 60 big blinds as the heads-up battle continued.

Ostash checked to Brzezinski before he just called the latter's bet of 225,000. The A♣ turn saw Brzezinski size up to 700,000. Undeterred, Ostash put in more calling chips to see the K♠ river.

With a fourth spade on the board, the players quickly checked to showdown. Ostash tabled Q♣9♥ for queens and nines, but Brzezinski had A♦Q♦, winning the pot with aces and queens.
