His opponent, Ludvig Sterner in early position, took a moment to think before making the call. Corbel then revealed J8 for quads, taking down the pot without needing to see Sterner’s cards.

Soika continued for 1,600 on the 325 flop, which Tsaknis called before the big blind folded.

Upon seeing the 7 turn, Soika opted to check before calling a bet of 3,200 from Tsaknis.

Soika checked again on the 7 river, at which point Tsaknis turned up the heat, placing a bet of 7,700.

Soika folded, and Tsaknis pulled in another pot.

Meutstege Straightens Out Oeye

Koen Meutstege in the big blind and Espen Oeye in the hijack had reached the end of the 8910K10 board. With 25,500 in the pot, Meutstege moved all in, sending Oeye deep into the tank.

Oeye confirmed that Meutstege had him covered before eventually deciding to risk his stack of 27,000 by calling.

Meutstege showed J7 for a flopped straight, besting the AK of Oeye and sending him to an early dinner.
