There was no further help for Zhao, though, as the board bricked out on the 6♠ turn and 10♦ river.
Maria Koutsouki, in the hijack, raised to 8,000, but out of turn, so David Salamanca to her right limped to keep Koutsouki in play. All the other players folded to Salamanca, who then called.
The dealer fanned a flop of 3♣2♦K♦ that Salamanca checked. Koutsouki bet 8,000, and she was called.
Both players checked the 8♥ turn and the J♦ river.
"I win," Salamanca said while flipping over A♣J♣ for a pair.
"Of course you win," Koutsouki answered while sending her cards into the muck. "But I lost the minimum," she added.
Nikolai Mamut raised to 8,000 from under the gun before Atanas Kodinov jammed for 13,000 from the next seat over. Joao Tomas called from the cutoff while Mamut also called.
The Q♦9♠3♦ flop checked through to the Q♣ turn, where Mamut check-folded to a bet of 15,000.

The action was picked up on a board of 10♣6♥A♠K♦J♠ after Enrico Camosci in the big blind bet 28,000 with 3,000 behind.
Felix Schneiders on the button raised and Camosci snap-called with Q♥J♦ for a straight. Schneiders had Q♣10♦, so they split the pot.
The action was joined as Edward Quinn was all in and at risk pre-flop from the big blind, versus Ferdinand Janssen on the button.

There was no help to be found for Quinn, as the board ran out J♠K♥5♠2♠8♠, seeing his deep run come to an end.
Ben Miller opened the action with a raise to 8,000 from the cutoff, only to be met by a three-bet to 25,000 by Sinead Davenport on the button. The action folded back to Miller, who made the call.
The dealer spread a 6♦10♣2♠ board, and when Davenport continued for 20,000, Miller opted to check-fold.
Davenport flipped over pocket queens, letting her opponent know she had it.
Mehdi Rebai in the small blind was all-in and at risk against Petre Ionescu in the hijack.

Rebai thought he had a chance to stay in the tournament thanks to a flop of 9♥10♦4♦, which improved him to a set of tens, but the K♠ turn dashed his hopes, and he was eliminated on the 7♠ river.
