The action was picked up on a board of 4♣7♠5♣2♥3♥ with Giorgos Onisiforou in the small blind betting 40,000, the size of the pot.

Giuseppe Spitale, in the big blind, went deep into the tank and eventually made the call with 5♥3♠ for two pair. However, Onisiforou had K♣6♠ for a straight to take the pot.

"Oh, my friend..." Spitale said, with a strong Italian accent, to express his deception.

Markus Bonus opened to 16,000 from under the gun and was called by Marian Virlanuta. Aliaksei Boika made it 60,000 from the hijack, and saw Bonus call. Virlanuta then jammed for around 350,000, prompting Boika to reshove as the big stack. Bonus folded.

Luis Faria raised to 16,000 under the gun. Nikolai Mamut upped the ante to 42,000 in the hijack, and Faria called once it had folded back to him.

Both players checked the 10♣9♠A♣ flop through to the 6♣ turn, where Faria bet 45,000. Mamut tossed in a call, and did so too when Faria sized down to 27,000 on the 8♣ river.

Faria showed 7♣7♦ for a small flush. Mamut tapped the table and returned his cards face down, admitting defeat.

Nikolai Mamut raised to 16,000 on the button, which saw both the small blind and Paawan Bansal in the big blind call.

The small blind checked on the 7♦3♥6♠ flop, but Bansal took over the betting lead, putting out 14,000. Mamut responded with a raise to 29,000. Action folded to Bansal, who called.

Bansal led out once more on the 8♦ turn, this time for 28,000, which Mamut called.

The 5♥ completed the board, prompting Bansal to bet 85,000, almost all of his stack.

After using a time extension, a tortured-looking Mamut elected to fold. Bansal showed the 10♣, while scooping in the pot, leaving his second card face down.
