Adrian Mateos A♣7♣ raised to 60,000 from the button and Tom-Aksel Bedell 8♥6♣ defended his big blind.
Bedell check-called for 45,000 on the K♦9♦6♦, bringing in the 8♠ turn that saw the chip leader make two pair. He led for 105,000 and Mateos called with his open-ender. The K♥ river saw Bedell check after his two pair was counterfeited. Mateos checked back and Bedell took in the pot.
Adria Calonge opened with a raise to 60,000 from early position, and Longmao Fan called from the button.
Both players checked through the K♠10♥9♣ flop and the 7♦ turn.
On the 2♦ river, Calonge led out with a bet of 120,000, only for Fan to raise it to 400,000. Calonge thought it over, burning through one time bank, before finally folding and giving the pot to Fan.
Toni Kaukua raised to 60,000 from early position and was called by Aliaksei Boika from the hijack. Tomasz Brzezinski used a time bank card before moving all in for 390,000 from the cutoff. Kaukua asked for a count, and called. Boika let go of his 9♥9♣.

Kaukua picked up four more outs on the K♦J♥2♥ flop, but the 4♦ turn and K♠ river ensured Brzezinski's survival.
Longmao Fan opened to 60,000 in middle position. Luis Faria upped the ante to 150,000 in the hijack, after which the action folded back to Fan. He opted for a call, seeing the 2♠5♦5♣ flop appear.
After Faria continued for 140,000, Fan check-raised all in, putting Faria at risk for 785,000 in total. Faria quickly mucked, forfeiting the pot to his neighbor.

Mateos continued for 55,000 on the A♠J♦9♣ flop, Boika, who also had a pair of aces, called before Brzezinski got out of the way.
Boika was drawing dead after the K♥ turn improved Mateos to aces and kings. The defending champ though, saved his chips, as he folded to a bet of 180,000.

Mateos' queens remained best and he held out to double following the J♠4♦3♣6♥9♥ runout.
Tomasz Brzezinski A♥10♣ opened to 60,000 from early position. Mykhailo Ostash K♥J♥ and Tom-Aksel Bedell K♦J♦ called from the button and big blind.
Ostash continued to run well, making a flush on the Q♥9♥3♥, while Brzezinski was still live with his ace-high flush draw. It checked to Ostash, and he bet 75,000. He was called by both opponents.
On the 6♠ turn, Ostash sized up to 200,000. Bedell folded and then Brzezinski called, leaving 495,000 behind.
The Q♦ river gave Ostash the checkmark, and he took down the pot after Brzezinski folded to an all-in bet.
Toni Kaukua opened to 60,000 from early position before Mykhailo Ostash three-bet to 200,000 from the small blind. David Tous put in his last 455,000 from the big blind, forcing out Kaukua. Ostash, however, snap-called.

Tous was in a world of trouble, and he only had one out as Kaukua folded Q♥J♠.
Tous had some backdoor straight possibilities after the 9♥8♦3♦ flop, but the 4♥ turn left him drawing to the case queen. The K♥ river saw Ostash get the first bust out of the day.
Action folded to the blinds, and Ben Heath called his small blind while Joao Tomas just checked.
The flop came Q♥J♣Q♣, and Heath led with a bet of 30,000, which Tomas called.
On the 2♥ turn, Heath checked, and Tomas fired 80,000. Heath called.
Both players checked the 3♦ river, and Heath revealed Q♥J♥ for the nuts, taking down the pot.
Joao Tomas raised to 60,000 from under the gun before Longmao Fan made it 150,000 on his direct left. Juan Pardo four-bet to 300,000 from the button, and saw Tomas get out of the way. Fan, however, stuck around.
Fan check-called for 75,000 on the A♠5♦2♥ flop before the 2♣ turn checked through to the 5♣ river. Fan fired out 250,000, and after 25 seconds on thinking time, Pardo called.
Fan had been caught speeding with K♠J♠, and Pardo took in the pot after he tabled A♣J♣.
