Shevliakov Raises Out Kokhestani

Aleksandr Shevliakov raised to 400,000 on the button and Boris Angelov three-bet to 1,850,000 in the big blind with A♠J♣. Shevliakov folded A♦2♥.

The next hand, Khossein Kokhestani raised to 400,000 on the button and Shevliakov called with 9♠6♥ in the big blind.

Both players checked the A♥K♥5♥ flop. Kokhestani then bet 400,000 on the 6♠ turn and Shevliakov raised to 2,500,000.

Kokhestani folded K♣7♦ and Shevliakov took the pot.

Aleksandr Shevliakov open-raised to 400,000 from the button with Q♦6♣ and Boris Angelov called in the big blind with 5♠4♠.

On the 3♥8♣4♦ flop, Angelov checked. Shevliakov continued for 300,000 and Angelov check-raised to 900,000 with his middle pair. Shevliakov wasn't ready to give up the pot, though, and he three-bet to 1,700,000. Angelov called the bet.

The turn came the K♥ and Angelov checked again. Shevliakov pushed out a bet of 1,500,000 and Angelov folded his hand to give Shevliakov the pot.

Aleksandr Shevliakov open-raised to 500,000 from the button and Boris Angelov moved all in from the big blind for 4,000,000. Shevliakov made the call with the covering stack to put Angelov at risk and players flipped their cards.

Both players stood up to watch the hand from the rail as the board ran out 9♥7♣4♦K♦10♥ and Angelov held with his pocket threes, letting out a cheer as he doubled up his stack.

Angelov was still in third place, but the double up brought him close to second-in-chips Khossein Kokhestani.

Both players checked the J♠7♣2♣ flop. Shevliakov then bet 500,000 on the Q♦ turn with top pair and Kokhestani called with a pair of sevens.

Shevliakov bet another 1,400,000 on the 8♣ river, but this time Kokhestanin gave up his hand.
