Prema Gets Value in Blinds

Grzegorz Kozieja limped in from the small blind, and Rama Prema checked his option in the big blind.

Kozieja checked the 10♠8♦3♣ flop over to Prema, who bet the minimum of 200,000. Kozieja called, after which the A♣ turn checked through.

The 5♥ fell on the river. Kozieja checked for a third time, but Prema fired a bet of 600,000. Kozieja took about a minute before he called, but he quickly mucked his cards when Prema tabled 8♣5♣ for two pair.

Hu Picks Off Goldenberg; Hurwitz Cracks Aces

Shmuel Goldenberg raised to 425,000 in middle position and Lulei Hu called in the big blind.

Goldenberg continued for 250,000 on the 9♥2♠6♦ flop, and Hu called. Goldenberg then bet 750,000 on the 3♠ turn, and Hu again called.

The river was the A♦ and Goldenberg bet another 1,000,000. Hu quickly called.

"Nice call," Goldenberg said, showing K♣Q♦.

"Yeah, nice call," Hu replied as he turned over A♥J♣ for a pair of aces to win the pot.

The next hand, Goldenberg again opened to 425,000 under the gun and Ben Hurwitz called in the big blind.

The flop came Q♣9♦6♦ and Goldenberg bet 250,000. Hurwitz called to the 8♣ turn, where he led out for 500,000. Goldenberg called.

The river was the 9♣ and Hurwitz moved all in for 3,500,000. Goldenberg quickly tossed two aces into the muck, and Hurwitz showed him J♦10♠ for a straight as he took the pot.

Cech bet 250,000 on the Q♣2♣9♣ flop, Auer called, and the pair saw a A♥ turn.

Both checked to the 8♥ river and Cech bet 375,000.

Auer called and showed A♣3♦, which was good enough to take the pot, having turned top pair. Cech showed his Q♦J♣, for a pair of queens.

Scott Margereson kicked off the action with a raise to 400,000 in the cutoff. Ivan Poroliev three-bet to 1,375,000 on the button, more than half Margereson's stack.

Margereson took some time before moving all in, and he was snap-called by his opponent.

Poroliev was down to just two outs after the 10♠K♣7♦ flop and 4♠ turn brought no help. Margereson was in prime position to double up with his aces, but the deck brought Poroliev a set on the brutal Q♦ river to win the hand.

A stunned Margereson took some time to process his demise before he amicably wished his former table good luck and headed to the payout desk.
