Stanciu Left With Crumbs as Kurtulus Gets Bluff Through

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Bora Kurtulus opened his button to 400,000 with A8. Traian Stanciu defended his big blind with J9 off of his short stack, after which both players checked the K410 flop.

Stanciu checked again on the 9 turn. Kurtulus fired a bet of 400,000 in response. Stanciu spent two of his time banks before deciding to call.

The river fell the 7. Stanciu checked a third time, prompting Kurtulus to snap-jam. Stanciu had been put all-in for his stack of 700,000, and he went back into the tank.

After using another time extension, Stanciu folded the best hand. Kurtulus shipped the pot to near the 20-million mark, while Stanciu was left with three and a half big blinds.
