Lars Kamphues
Lars Kamphues

Lars Kamphues had opened under the gun when Viliyan Petleshkov three-bet to 1,000 in the hijack. It folded back to Kamphues, who four-bet to 3,000. Petleshkov called, and the 3J4 flop was spread.

Kamphues continued his aggression with bets of 2,000 on the flop and 6,800 on the 4 turn that Petleshkov called. The 8 river saw the German regular complete his triple barrel by moving all in.

Petleshkov's 16,500 remaining chips were covered by Kamphues, and he decided to preserve them by mucking his cards and giving up on the pot.

Margolin Pressures Rubiralta on the River

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

The pot had climbed to around 12,000 with the board showing 3785. Lev Margolin checked from under the gun and Gerard Rubiralta on the button fired 7,500. Margolin took a moment to think it through before making the call to see the river.

The dealer revealed the 9 and Margolin paused again before sliding out 16,000, leaving himself with only about 4,000 behind and putting Rubiralta to a tough decision. Rubiralta mulled it over but eventually released his hand.

"Show me one card", Rubiralta said, but Margolin responded with a firm shake of the head. "No?" Rubiralta asked. "Next" (time), Margolin replied while stacking his chips.
