Lanzon Gets Aggressive Multi-Way

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Four ways to the turn on a board of 98K3, Gangzhou Hu bet 1,200 from the big blind, with Igor Pihela calling in middle position and Valentino Konakchiev doing the same from the hijack. Carlos Lanzon then raised to 6,600 in the cutoff, which only Konakchiev called.

The A arrived on the river and, after Konakchiev checked, Lanzon jammed. Konakchiev had the effective stack with about 13,000 remaining and didn't take long to release his cards, surrendering the pot to Lanzon.

Teisseire Gets Value

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Moises Belmonte Cortes raised to 1,500 from middle position, and Antonin Teisseire in the hijack was the only player to call.

The action checked through on the 27Q flop before Cortes put in a delayed continuation-bet of 1,500 on the 6 turn. Teisseire raised to 3,500, and Cortes called.

After Cortes checked on the A river, Teisseire bet 8,700. Cortes toiled over his decision but ultimately chose to call. It was bad news, though, as Teisseire tabled 77 for a flopped set, and Cortes mucked his cards.

Quattrucci Cracks Aces to Score the Double KO

Level 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Dario Quattrucci
Dario Quattrucci

Dario Quattrucci just scored a double knockout on Table 40 in a pot of around 70,000, eliminating Hamza Nasir and Maor Zaharagi.

All the chips went into the middle preflop, with Nasir on the button, Zaharagi in early position, and Quattrucci trying to send them both home from under the gun.

Hamza Nasir: AA All in
Maor Zaharagi: AK All in
Dario Quattrucci: 76

Nasir had the goods with pocket rockets, while Quattrucci needed something of a miracle to turn his seven-high into the winner.

The 69Q flop was a good start, giving Quattrucci a pair and a flush draw.

Zaharagi added a gutshot when the J landed on the turn, but the board-pairing 6 river improved Quattrucci to trips, cracking Nasir's aces and sending two players to the rail.

Van De Steeg Holds to Double

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The action was picked up as small blind Pierre De Almeida called an all-in from Gijsbertina van de Steeg in the big blind for 18,200.

Gijsbertina van de Steeg: JJ All in
Pierre De Almeida: AQ

The deck favoured the pocket pair on this occasion, as Van De Steeg's pocket jacks held on across the 753K5 runout.
