Nicolas Chouity had gotten his stack of 216,000 all in from the big blind, and he was at risk against fellow EPT champion Mark Teltscher.

A completed board of 9♣5♦A♣10♦5♣ was on the table when Kalidou Sow bet 225,000 into a pot of 400,000 from the big blind. Alexander Ivarsson was under the gun and tanked for a few moments before he called.
Sow could only show a bluff with 8♦7♦, leaving Ivarsson to take the pot with K♣J♣.
Meanwhile, at another table, Parker Talbot lost his remaining chips and was eliminated from the Main Event.

Matas Cimbolas under the gun and Xiaosheng Zheng on the button had built a substantial pot of 270,000 when they arrived on the 4♥6♠5♠5♦ turn. Cimbolas moved all in for 217,000, and Zheng sighed as he called the bet.

Cimbolas' aces held on the 4♠ river, doubling him up to overtake the former chipleader.
Jonathan Rosa raised 12,000 in the cutoff, and Kalidou Sow responded with a three-bet to 38,000 on the button. Ivo Colaco then four-bet to 64,000 from the big blind. Rosa let his cards go, but Sow called.
The 3♦8♣J♠ flop saw Colaco check before calling when Sow bet 50,000. Colaco checked again on the 8♥ turn, and Sow continued with another bet, this time for 130,000. Colaco used a time extension before asking Sow, "Will you show if I fold?" Sow offered no response, and when Colaco folded A♦K♣ face up, Sow returned his cards to the dealer face down.
Arturo Rodriguez raised to 16,000 on the button, and Leo Worthington-Leese moved all-in for 45,000 in the small blind. The big blind got out of the way, and Rodriguez called.

Worthington-Leese retained his lead on the Q♠6♣7♦ flop, but the 3♠ turn had him drawing dead. The 2♠ completed the board, making Worthington-Leese's elimination official.
Claudia Bueno's stack of 157,000 got into the middle from the big blind, with Matheus Machado trying to end her Main Event from early position.

Bueno was flipping for her tournament life, and the 10♣ in the window looked like it spelled disaster. However, the flop was completed by the K♠J♠ to give Bueno a Broadway straight.
Machado wasn't waving the white flag just yet, as the 3♠ turn gave him a flush draw and some extra ways to spoil Bueno's party.
The 7♦ river was a complete brick, though, keeping Bueno's Main Event journey alive.
On a J♣2♦6♣ flop, Max Bashlawi got his stack of 143,000 all in from the hijack against David Roche on the button. Meanwhile, big blind Raffael Brum folded what he claimed was king-jack.

Roche's top pair held on the 7♦3♥ runout, busting Bashlawi.
On the next deal, Luigi Minolfi raised to 12,000 under the gun. Roche was in middle position and three-bet to 35,000, which Minolfi called. Roche continued for 40,000 on the A♥7♥2♠ flop, and Minolfi check-called.
After the 8♣ turn was checked through, Minolfi bet 110,000 on the 4♠ river. Roche eyed the tower of chips his opponent had slid in, but folded before reaching the end of his shot clock.
With a little under 90,000 already in the pot, Xiaosheng Zheng checked from the hijack on a Q♥8♥10♣ flop. Antoine Labat bet 30,000 in the cutoff, and Zheng responded with a check-raise to 90,000. Labat moved all-in for 206,000, and Zheng immediately called.

Zheng was drawing extremely thin, and despite making a full house on the 10♦ turn and 10♥ river, Labat's superior boat secured him a huge double-up.
In a pot worth 80,000, Gerald Piton checked the 5♠Q♥Q♦7♥ turn from the small blind to Andriy Lyubovetskiy on the button. Lyubovetskiy bet 25,000, which Piton clicked back to 55,000. Lyubovetskiy called to the 3♣ river, where Piton bet 32,000.
Lyubovetskiy spent some time in the tank before he raised all in for 126,000. Piton snapped him off, revealing A♦Q♣ for trip queens. Lyubovetskiy briefly showed his A♣6x for an ace-high bluff, then exited the tournament area.
