Juanda was the shortest stack in the tournament and one of only two remaining players with a chance of winning a second EPT Main Event title.
Juanda picked up a straight draw on the J♠A♥3♠ flop, but wasn't able to improve beyond his king-high after the 9♣6♦ completed the board.
Juanda wished the players good luck as he headed to the rail in 15th place, while Criado's stack climbed to over seven million.

With A♥6♣, Lukas van Eeden raised to 120,000 from the button and Gerard Carbo defended 6♥4♦ from the big blind.
Carbo checked on the 3♦7♥A♦ flop, and Van Eeden continued for 80,000. Carbo check-raised to 280,000, which Van Eeden called.
Carbo placed out a bet of 380,000 on the 4♣ turn, and again Van Eeden called.
The 10♥ came on the river, and Carbo went for the maximum bet possible, shoving and covering Van Eeden.
Van Eeden had 1,490,000 left in his stack and, after thinking it over for a while, folded top pair.

John Juanda raised to 125,000 from the hijack, and Lukas van Eeden was the only caller from the big blind.
Van Eeden check-called a continuation-bet of 80,000 from Juanda on the 9♥Q♦6♥ flop.
Two checks followed the board-pairing Q♥ turn before the 5♦ landed on the river. Van Eeden tossed out a bet of 350,000, which Juanda reluctantly called.
Van Eeden tabled the winner with K♥3♥ for a flush, as Juanda mucked J♠J♥ for a pair of jacks.

Jose Criado raised to 120,000 from middle position, with Gerard Carbo calling on the button. Eduardo Kalil jammed from the big blind for 435,000, with both Criado and Carbo calling.
With Kalil all-in, the dealer fanned the 2♦K♥8♦ flop, where both players checked to see the Q♣ on the turn.
Both checked again, and the 3♦ completed the runout. One more check came from Criado, but Carbo bet 375,000. Criado folded K♣4♣, and the cards were tabled between Carbo and Kalil.
Carbo showed J♦10♦ for a flush to win the pot and bust Kalil in 16th place, as he tabled A♣10♥ for ace-high.

Edward Pak raised to 120,000 from early position, with Jose Criado calling from the hijack and John Juanda defending from the big blind.
All three were happy to check the 5♣8♦Q♥ flop, and the J♠ came on the turn. Juanda checked, Pak bet 180,000, and only Criado called, as Juanda folded 9♠8♥.
Pak checked the A♦ river and Criado bet the minimum of 60,000. Pak was curious enough to call with K♣J♥ for a pair of jacks, but he was second best against Criado's Q♦J♣ for two pair.

Joris Ruijs raised to 120,000 from early position and Michael Dwyer called on the button. Xiaosheng Zheng squeezed to 550,000 from the small blind, which only Ruijs called, as Dwyer folded 7♦7♥.
The monotone 10♠6♠9♠ flop came down, and Zheng elected to lead out for 225,000. Ruijs wasn't going anywhere yet as he put in the call.
The 9♦ paired the board, and both players checked to see the 5♠ river. Another two checks followed and Zheng won the pot with A♥J♠ for a rivered flush, beating Ruijs' A♦J♦.

Pak checked after seeing the J♠Q♠J♥ flop, and Carbo took the opportunity to fire a continuation-bet of 60,000. Pak called.
The 2♣ turn checked through to see the 10♠ land on the river, which also went check, check. Pak tabled A♦9♣ for ace-high, but Carbo had rivered a pair of tens with K♦10♦ to win the pot.
