Selouan Wins Big, Der Megreditchian Collateral Damage

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Rodrigo Selouan
Rodrigo Selouan

Rodrigo Selouan opened to 30,000 on the button, and Nikita Kuznetsov three-bet to 110,000 from the small blind. Jacques Der Megreditchian then moved all in from the big blind for 105,000, and Selouan came along.

Kuznetsov continued with a bet of 75,000 on the 524 flop, and Selouan called again.

The 8 turn card slowed Kuznetsov down, as he checked his option. Taking over the betting lead, Selouan slid 180,000 into the middle, which Kuznetsov called.

When the J river completed the board, Kuznetsov checked again. On this occasion, he snap-folded when Selouan announced an all-in for 265,000.

Der Megreditchian flipped over J8 to reveal he had rivered two pair, but it was no good, as Selouan had turned top set with his 88.
