Danchev Falls to Suhohen on the River
Level 13
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Elias Suhonen raised to 5,000 in early position and Alessio Bisci, who owns a pizza restaurant back home and whom tablemate Mitch Garshofsky has nicknamed "Pizza Man," called in middle position. Julien Mariani in the hijack and Garshofsky in the small blind also called, but Dimitar Danchev then moved all in for 55,000 in the big blind. Suhohen reshoved to chase out the rest of the table.
Dimitar Danchev: K♠10♠
Elias Suhonen: A♣Q♦
Danchev took the lead on the J♠10♣4♦ flop with a pair, while the 6♠ turn also gave him a flush draw. The river, though, brought the Q♣ to give Suhohen a pair of queens and send the EPT champion to the rail.
