Ruijs Flying High After River Raise
Level 20
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Tsugunari Toma in the small blind and Joris Ruijs in middle position were looking at a completed board of A♣5♠4♥J♠8♦.
Toma had fired a bet of unseen size into the pot of 135,000, which Ruijs raised to 230,000. Toma quickly called, but he mucked his cards in disappointment when Ruijs tabled A♠J♣ for top two pair.
