Vauquelin Gets Paid by Zizka; Boyer Leaves Kolev on Fumes in a Flip
Zdenek Zizka raised to 30,000 under the gun and Thierry Gogniat put in a min-raise to 45,000 in the small blind. Laurent Vauquelin called in the big blind, as did Zizka.
All three players checked the K♣4♣10♠ flop. Vauquelin then bet 65,000 on the Q♥ turn, and only Zizka called.
Vauquelin bet another 85,000 on the 10♥ river, and Zizka used up a time bank before calling once more. Vauquelin showed K♠J♦ for two pair, and Zizka mucked.
At another table, Yuliyan Kolev had opened to 30,000 in the hijack, then called when Cedric Boyer shoved for 195,000 on the button.
