Teusl Coolers Sterba For a Massive Double
Level 24
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jakub Sterba raised to 60,000 under the gun, Jessica Teusl three-bet to 185,000 in the cutoff, and Sterba called.
The flop came A♠5♣J♦ and Teusl bet 155,000. Sterba then raised to 400,000, and Teusl called.
Sterba bet another 400,000 on the 10♣ turn, but this time Teusl moved all in for 865,000. Sterba used up a time bank and tanked for a minute before calling.
Teusl turned over A♣A♦ for top set, and Sterba found himself already drawing dead, holding A♥J♥. The 9♥ river was inconsequential, and Teusl earned the massive double-up.
