Felix Schneiders Eliminated in 2nd Place (€717,350)
Jorge Abreu limped in from the button before Felix Schneiders raised to 900,000. Abreu called, and they saw a flop of J♣6♣3♠.
Schneiders then bet 450,000, and Abreu came back with a raise to 950,000. Schneiders called to see the 7♠ turn.
He checked over to Abreu, who bet another 700,000. Schneiders then moved all in for 2,100,000, and Abreu confirmed the amount before calling.
Schneiders turned over Q♦Q♣, while Abreu showed J♠8♣ for a pair of jacks as Schneiders was a big favorite to double up. "Hold, hold, hold!" his rail again chanted, but this time their fortune ran out as Abreu spiked the 8♦ on the river to make two pair and end Schneiders' run in second place.
Schneiders ran into the comforting arms of his always-supportive rail, who was still in a celebratory mood. "Felix Schneiders! Felix Schneiders!" they continued to chant despite the bittersweet ending.
