Kwan Puts It All In

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Georgios Skarparis opened the action with a raise to 300 in the hijack. Roman Isaienko three-bet to 1,000 in the small blind, which Chun Kit Kwan four-bet to 2,600 in the big blind.

Skarparis got out of the way before Isaienko tossed in calling chips. The pair then checked through the 958 flop, prompting Isaienko to bet 4,000 on the J turn.

Kwan called to the 8 river, where Isaienko sized up to 6,000. Kwan eyed his opponent's stack, then moved all in. Isaienko quickly released his cards, leaving himself just under half a starting stack.

Georgios Vrakas

Georgios Vrakas in middle position and Oleksii Trofymenko on the button had built a pot just shy of 10,000 when the 54K10A river was dealt. Vrakas grabbed a pile of chips and casually tossed the bet of 17,900 into the middle.

Trofymenko rechecked his cards before he quickly flicked in a calling chip. Vrakas tabled QQ for the nut flush, taking down the big pot and nearly eliminating his opponent.

Westmorland Rising Early

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Picking up the action on a Q2K10 turn, Sebastian Martinez checked from the small blind to Jordan Westmorland in the hijack. Westmorland fired a bet of 5,500 into a pot of 6,000, which Martinez quickly called.

The 4 river saw Westmorland size up to 9,000 after another check from Martinez. Martinez needed some time before he concluded his hand was no good and sent it into the muck.

Den Hartog check-called Pignataro's continuation-bet of 900 on the A38 flop, after which the Q turn was checked by both players.

Den Hartog then fired a big bet of 6,000 on the 7 river, receiving a quick fold for his efforts.
