Delbano Chips Up as Boatman Busts

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Martin Breyton put in a raise to 600 in the cutoff. Matthias Delbano three-bet to 2,800 in the small blind, which Breyton decided to call after taking some bites from his sandwich.

Breyton also called the bet of 1,500 from Delbano on the AJJ flop, after which both players checked the K turn.

The 7 river saw Delbano pick the aggression back up with a bet of 6,000, ending the hand as Breyton eventually moved his cards towards the muck.

During the hand, defending champion Barny Boatman was eliminated from another table.

Matan Krakow
Matan Krakow

Every winter, Matan Krakow makes it a point to travel from his home in Israel to play in the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague. It’s his favorite stop of the year. It’s where he first cashed in an EPT festival nearly fifteen years ago. And in December, at the final table of the 2025 EPT Prague Main Event, Krakow enjoyed his crowning achievement in a long career in the poker industry.

Krakow spiked a flush on the river to defeat Turkey’s Bora Kurtulus heads up and capture the prestigious PokerStars golden shard trophy and €778,255 top prize for prevailing over the 1,224-entry field.

“It’s more exciting than I can put into words. It’s a dream come true. It really is,” the new champion said with the gold-plated trophy by his side and confetti strewn across the floor, taking in the scene that most poker players can only dream of.

Eric Afriat

Francisco Perez raised to 600 in middle position. Eric Afriat was next to act in the hijack and bumped it up to 2,100. Francisco Barrios cold-called in the cutoff, and Perez tossed in calling chips as well.

The 384 flop saw Perez check to Afriat, who continued for 3,000. Barrios moved out of the way with a fold, but Perez stuck around and called.

After Perez checked the 7 turn as well, Afriat sized up to 10,000. Perez spent some time in thought before he let go of his cards and surrendered the pot to his neighbor.

Poroliev Takes Four-Bet Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Dominykas Karmazinas raised to 500 in the hijack, receiving a call from Michael Wang in the cutoff. Button Ivan Poroliev squeezed in a three-bet to 2,100, which Karmazinas quickly four-bet to 4,800.

Wang had seen enough and got out of the way, but Poroliev wanted to see a flop and called.

KK7 was fanned as the flop, on which Karmazinas continued for 3,000. Poroliev called to the 9 turn, which both players checked.

The 10 then arrived on the river. Karmazinas checked again, and he quickly surrendered the pot when Poroliev piled in a bet of 15,000.

Roller-Coaster Ride for Ostash

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Arriving on the 7J256 river, Aren Bezhanyan put in an overbet of 6,500 into a pot of 4,200 from the small blind. Mykhailo Ostash was in the big blind and quickly called.

Bezhanyan tabled 55 for a set of fives, and Ostash mucked his cards in defeat.

The next hand, Ostash squeezed in a three-bet to 2,700 from the small blind, which only Bradley Moore called in middle position.

Ostash continued for 2,000 on the Q83 flop. Moore raised to 5,000, and Ostash called.

Ostash checked the 10 turn over to Moore, who put his opponent all-in for 8,700. Ostash snapped him off.

Mykhailo Ostash: 1010 All in
Bradley Moore: AQ

Ostash had turned a set, and he faded Moore's flush draw on the 7 river. He doubled up, putting him back above starting stack.
