Thomas Fjelleheim Likes Pocket Aces

Shortly after Ulsrud doubled up Dag Martin Mikkelsen, he opened another pot for 12,000 only to be re-raised to 30,000 by Thomas Fjelleheim. Ulsrud called. The flop came down queen high and Fjellheim immediately moved all in. Ulsrud dejectedly folded and Fjellheim flashed {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}.

When Ulsrud said he folded A-K, his tablemate Voitto Rintala quipped "good thing that flop wasn't king high."

Giovanni Spadavecchia Eliminated in 36th Place (€14,650)

Giovanni Spadavecchia was on the losing end of two pots. On the first hand, Daan Ruite (Holland) doubled through Spadavecchia. Ruite's {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} held up against Spadavecchia's {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. That left Spadavecchia with just 44K.

On the next hand, Spadavecchia was involved in a three-way pot. On a flop of {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, Trond Eidsvig (Norway) checked and Spadavecchi moved all in. Eric Hardt (USA) called and Eidsvig check-raised Hardt all in. Hadrt went into the tank for three minutes before he folded. Spadavecchi showed {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for top pair. Eidsvig flipped over {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for two pair. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Spadavecchi picked up a flush draw along with a gutshot. The river was the {7-Diamonds} and Eidsvig won the hand with a full house. Spadavecchi headed to the rail in 36th place. He won €14,650.
