Bad Boy

Recognise this charming gentleman? His name is Eric Molina and he came 31st in the 2006 World Series main event. He has no other cashes to his name but made a name for himself for throwing tantrums at the table, getting lots of "F-Bombs" and throwing his all-in chip at World Champion Jamie Gold.

From the photo it doesn't like like much has changed, but he'll have to behave himself today as he has Marcel Luske two to his left who is likely to make him a target. He did win quite a nice 6K pot in his first hand though. Somehow he got paid off by a worse hand holding {J-Diamonds}

on a

board.

Perhaps the most interesting early match up pits two Dusk Til Dawn professionals together. Micheal "Don't call me Beppe" Greco has position on Carlo Citrone, they are both kitted out in extensive Dusk Til Dawn merchandise, though not as much as Dave Colclough yesterday.

There isnt enough copies to go round but from a quick glance at the player roster there are no major player clashes. Ben Grundy is at the same table as Mickey Wernick will be locking horns in an interesting clash.

Roland De Wolfe, Marcel Luske and Noah Boeken have just arrived. Its going to be another late start, probably around 4pm German time, with the extra blind level expected tonight expect Nicky and myself to have a case of Panda eyes tonight.

Day 1B Preview

Without doubt the story of day 1a was all about Johnny Lodden. The young Norwegian may dress like a 1980s breakdancer but he clearly leaves all his best moves for the card table. It seems he has a knack of finding a way to win every hand he is in and as the day went on he gathered more and more momentum. Not scared to get all his chips in on a stone cold bluff, expect to see this online star either at the final table or doubling up the eventual winner.

Day 1b starts in just over an hour with a lot of big names coming to the party including Marcel Luske, Roland De Wolfe and the rest of the Hendon Mob. If day 1a was anything to go by its going to be a long day and at the end of it we should see if anyone can gather enough chips to stand up to Johnny Lodden.
