Nick Wong Eliminates Paul Newey

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy opened the hijack for 50,000, and from the small blind Paul Newey shoved all in for what appeared to be just under 400,000. Nick Wong thought about it in the big blind for some time and eventually announced that he was all in as well. Troyanovskiy instantly folded.

"Oh, f***! F***!" said two Newey-supporting rail birds as they found out Newey was behind with his {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Wong had {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} in front of him and was well ahead.

"Ten! Ten!" the rail birds continued after {J-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{Q-Spades} hit the flop. The ten wouldn't come, the {4-Hearts} on the turn and {K-Clubs} on the river were blanks, and Newey made his way out of the roped off tournament area.

Reichardt Four-Bets Colman

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Action folded to Sven Reichardt in the small blind, and he raised to 62,000 against Daniel Colman's big blind. Colman reraised and made it 185,000 to go. After a minute or so of thought, Reichardt reraised to an even 400,000. Colman folded, and Reichardt won the pot.

Saar Wilf Eliminated

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Saar Wilf
Saar Wilf

The live stream cut to one of the outer tables, and when it cut back, Saar Wilf and Martin Finger had their chips in the middle and the dealer was busy dealing a board.

Wilf was all in for 297,000, making it possible he just pushed his stack forward before the flop from the hijack position with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. Martin Finger had {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and just 194,000 behind, so this was an important one for him as well.

The {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} on the flop, and {5-Spades} on the turn, were of no thread to Wilf, but the {K-Hearts} on the river did hurt. Wilf got up from the table, shook some hands, and made his exit.

Kanit's Tens Win

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

From the cutoff seat, Andrew Pantling raised to 50,000. Mustapha Kanit reraised to 110,000 on the button, and play folded back to Pantling to see him make the call. The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, and Pantling check-called a bet of 85,000.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds}, and both players checked to see the {Q-Hearts} fall on the river. Both players checked again.

Pantling showed {6-}{5-} for a pair of fives, but Kanit's {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} were best and he won the pot.

Olivier Busquet Busts Nick Wong in Huge Pot

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Nick Wong
Nick Wong

According to Jake Schindler, Nick Wong had opened to 50,000, and Busquet (button), Troyanovskiy (small blind), and Pantling (big blind) all made the call.

Both blinds checked to Wong on the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} flop, and the initial raiser bet out 125,000. Busquet made the call in position, and Troyanovskiy folded after some hefty thinking. Pantling folded immediately after that, and the turn was next.

As soon as the {4-Hearts} fell, action was very rapid. Wong announced all in, and Busquet instantly called. Wong had flopped two pair with the {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, but needed to get one more of those after Busquet rolled over the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} for a flush.

The river did pair the board, but it was the wrong board pair for Wong; the {4-Clubs}.

The dealer started counting, but it was soon apparent that Wong (894,000) was covered by Busquet (1,194,000). Busquet is now the the chip leader, surpassing his buddy Daniel Colman.

Fee Doubles Shak, Then Eliminates Seidel

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Erik Seidel and Ryan Fee earlier today
Erik Seidel and Ryan Fee earlier today

Ryan Fee and Dan Shak got their chips in before the flop, and Shak was way behind. With {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}, Shak needed some help against Fee's {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

And help he would get: the {Q-Spades} in the window moved him in front. The board came {Q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades}, and Fee needed to ship a million to his foe.

Not much later, Fee did get some chips back. Seidel pushed his stack in with {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, and Fee had an easy decision with {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. Seidel did flop some outs with {6-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, but the {5-Clubs} on the turn, and {6-Clubs} on the river were of no help.

Sven Reichardt opened the hijack to 50,000, and Martin Finger on the button made the call. Both blinds folded, and the two of them saw a flop.

{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

Reichardt continued for 75,000, and Finger raised it up to 205,000 with 733,000 behind. Reichardt shoved all in, and Finger called.

Sven Reichardt: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Martin Finger: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The {4-Diamonds} on the turn brought Finger a flush draw, but the {8-Hearts} on the river was of no help. Finger eliminated in 16th place.

Andrew Pantling

After Olivier Busquet raised to 50,000 form under the gun, Andrew Pantling reraised all in from the cutoff seat for 346,000. Play then folded over to Jake Schindler in the big blind, and he studied the situation before announcing a reraise all in for 448,000. Busquet folded.
