Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

On a flop of {10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades} big blind Tobias Peters checked it over to Eric Sfez who bet 13,500.

Peter raised to 43,000 and after some thought Sfez made it 100,000. Peters responded by moving all in and Sfez threw his cards away.

Three-Betting for the Win

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Not many hands have gone post flop as of lately and the start of the level had been very conservative. Josip Simunic raised to 11,000 from the button and then gave up to the 27,500 three-bet of Fady Kamar.

One table over, Vladimir Troyanovskiy did the same for 12,000 after Thomas Butzhammer put in the reraise.

With 26 players left and 17 getting paid, there are only three shorter stacks in Carlos Lopes, Gilbert Diaz and Tiago Martinho.

Trips for Simunic

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Artem Metalidi min-raised to 10,000 from the button and Josip Simunic defended his big blind to see the heads-up flop of {K-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {9-Hearts}. The Austrian check-called a bet of 13,000 and both players then checked the {J-Spades} turn. Simunic bet 29,000 after the {3-Diamonds} river and got called by Metalidi to reveal {J-Hearts} {8-Spades} as winning hand.

Mouawad's Stack Vanishes

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Joe Mouawad
Joe Mouawad

Joe Mouawad and Ivan Luca were preflop all in after a three-bet shove and call with Mouawad being the player at risk. The Lebanese held {9-Clubs} {9-Hearts} in the small blind and Luca was ahead with {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds}. The board ran out {A-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {8-Spades} and after the stacks were counted, Mouawad was covered by less than 10,000 chips.

Garcia Busts to Ylitalo

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jose Carlos Garcia was all in for only 18,000 chips and got isolated by Robin Ylitalo from one seat over with a reraise. All other players folded and Garcia was at risk with {K-Spades} {10-Diamonds}. Ylitalo had the better kicker with {K-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} and he scored the knockout on a board of {Q-Clubs} {7-Spades} {K-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}.

Aido's Queens Too Little

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Sergio Aido
Sergio Aido

Jonathan Little raised from under the gun and then four-bet shoved after Sergio Aido had three-bet from one seat over. The Spaniard called off for his last 150,000 with {Q-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} and was in great shape to double up versus the {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} of the American. However, the {7-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {A-Hearts} flop was devastating, leaving him with only one out.

Neither the {3-Diamonds} turn nor the {3-Hearts} river changed anything and Little is now the new chip leader.
