Metalidi Eliminated

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Artem Metalidi
Artem Metalidi

Tobias Peters and Artem Metalidi got all the chips in the middle on a flop of {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}.

Peters had the straight draw and over card {a-Clubs}{7-Spades} with Metalidi tabling the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

The turn card was the {3-Hearts} but the {a-Diamonds} on the river gave Peters top pair to send Metalidi crashing out of the tournament.

They are now down to 24 players so the clock has been paused for a re-draw.

Thomas Butzhammer min-raised to 10,000 and was called by David Vamplew from one seat over before Tiago Martinho moved all in out of the small blind. It was for 104,000 and Butzhammer then isolated to get Vamplew out of the pot.

Martinho: {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}
Butzhammer: {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}

There was no help for the Portuguese on a board of {9-Hearts} {K-Spades} {3-Hearts} {2-Spades} {8-Hearts} and that was it for Martinho.

An Ace for Simunic

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Josip Simunic raised from the button and Adrian Mateos called in the big blind to check-call a small bet on the {7-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} flop. On the {2-Hearts} turn the Spaniard check-called another 25,500 and both players then checked down the {3-Hearts} river. Mateos' {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} was not good enough, as Simunic had {A-Spades} {5-Hearts}.

The Swede tanked for a while and eventually called for his last 192,500, tabling {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} for a straight.
