"Gee Gee!"

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

As we walked down to the tournament room, Miguel Use was coming up the stairs with a wry smile on his face. "Gee gee!" he said, confirming our assumption he just busted.

Use told us he had shoved his last nine big blinds in before the flop with {10-}{J-} suited under the gun. A player had looked him up with pocket nines and tens and jacks were nowhere to be found on the board so use made his exit.

Use won't be speeding back home to Belgium just yet though, he has a final table to play tonight. Use made it to the final eight players of the FPS €2,000 High Roller event that will see its conclusion tonight after the Main Event ends. Use, with 645,000 in chips, is one of the shorter stacks in that event though. Vladimir Troyanovskiy (3,955,000) and Marcin Wydrowski (2,730,000) divide all the big denomination chips.

Ferreira Chipping Up

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Rui Ferreira
Rui Ferreira

Rui Ferreira opened for 2,200 and got two callers in Anton Wigg and the player in the big blind.

No action on a flop of {9-Clubs}{q-Spades}{k-Hearts} so the dealer put out the {k-Spades} on the turn. A check from the big blind saw Ferreira bet 4,000 and pick upp one caller in Wigg.

The river was the {a-Clubs} and a bet of 11,400 from Ferreira was looked up by Wiggg who mucked when he saw the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

Panka Over Rohr

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Jean-Philippe Rohr and Dominik Panka had already tangled earlier today when the PCA champion check-called the turn bet and then bet the river with a pair of tens. This time the action was similar with Panka check-calling 6,000 on the {A-Spades} {2-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {8-Clubs} turn before leading the {Q-Diamonds} river for 17,000. Rohr tanked for a bit and then released his cards.

No Three-Time Champion This Time Around

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Victoria Coren-Mitchell
Victoria Coren-Mitchell

Minutes after the third level of the day started, Vicky Coren-Mitchell had the all in triangle in front of her after shoving for about 13,000 in chips from the cutoff. Dimitar Danchev in the small blind was the one calling.

Coren-Mitchell was looking for help with her {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} as Danchev had brought {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} for the confrontation. The {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board at no point made things exciting, and Coren-Mitchell made her way to the exit.

"It was nice playing with you. Have a nice day" she said gracefully while standing up to make her way out the door.

Quads For Katchalov

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We joined the action on a flop of {8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

Marco Leonzio was all in for his last 19,000 and the calling chips had been placed in front of Eugene Katchalov. Oleh Okhotskyi was deciding what to do but soon passed.

Leonzio tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} but had been out flopped by Katchalov’s {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

The turn {3-Hearts} and river {10-Hearts} saw some raised eyebrows and an exit for Leonzio.

Troyanovskiy Loses a Terrible Lot

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Luciano Santos De Hollanda from Brazil opened to 2,000 from the hijack. Action folded to Vladimir Troyanovskiy in the small blind and the Russian pushed all in for 26,100. Pierre Husson in the big blind tanked for a fair bit before releasing his hand. Santos De Hollanda instantly called all in for 20,700.

Troyanovskiy flipped over {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and was up against {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. The {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} board didn't help Troyanovskiy and he forfeited the 20,700 to continue with just 5,400.

In one of the next hands Troyanovskiy doubled. He pushed over a late position raise and won with {A-Clubs}{4-Spades} from {Q-Spades}{8-Spades} after a board of {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

A very Bad Day at the Office for Boujenah

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Ilan Boujenah first lost a bigger pot with pocket kings versus {A-} {K-} and then got it in preflop after a raising war with Sameer Khurana. Boujenah had pocket jacks and faced pocket aces to spike his set on the flop. However, Khurana made a runner runner straight and the better hand preflop held up.

Nandor Solyom, who made a deep run at the EPT 11 Prague Main Event, as well as Konstantin Puchkov are two further notables who joined the rail.
