Aido Rivered

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

At the same time as the hand reported before, the other outer table had some action as well.

Andrius Bielskis opened for 32,000 from the hijack and Sergio Aido made the call from the button.

Aido called 30,000 on the {10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, 55,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn, and 125,000 on the {2-Spades} river, if we wrote it down correctly taking notes at two tables at the same time.

Aido's hand we did not see, but Bielskis hand was {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} at showdown and Aido was left with just a few stacks of chips.

David van den Berg
David van den Berg

The recreational player from Laren, in The Netherlands, said he was left “trembling like a maniac” when an ace on the flop meant he eliminated two players in the same hand to take the chip-lead at EPT Deauville. PokerStars Blog got to know him, and hear his thought process on that hand.
