Marvin Rettenmaier

Team PokerStars Pro Victoria Coren Mitchell had flat-called a raise before Marvin Rettenmaier squeezed all in for 69,500 out of the blinds. The original raiser folded and Coren Mitchell instantly called, but was slightly disappointed to be behind.

Coren Mitchell: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Rettenmaier: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The flop was {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{J-Hearts} helping neither player but then the {Q-Hearts} came on the turn to a little sigh from the German. The river was the {10-Diamonds} making Rettenmaier a straight and he let out a little "Yay!" as a result.

The players are four places from the money as the dinner break approaches.

Craig McCorkell

Craig McCorkell had shoved from the small blind and Christopher Frank had called all in from the big blind for his last 24,000 but the dealer had accidentally mucked both players hands and shoved the chips towards McCorkell. The floor was called and everyone agreed what the hands were, the cards were then retrieved from the muck.

Frank: {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
McCorkell: {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The board came {2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Frank was eliminated.

Barely a hand later and Frederik Jensen opened to 13,000 in early position. McCorkell moved all in from the button for 180,000 and Jensen called instantly.

Jensen: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
McCorkell: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

This time the board was {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and McCorkell doubled up.

Niall Farrell joked, "I was rooting for you...not because you're my friend but because you're s**t."

"I have great friends," replied McCorkell.
