Hands #179-183: Heads Up Back and Forth

Hand #179: Sebastian Pauli had {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} on the button and raised to 240,000. Kevin MacPheel held {Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} in the big blind and called to see a flop.

The dealer fanned {5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and both players checked to see the {7-Clubs} pair the board on fourth street. MacPhee bet 265,000 on the turn and Pauli stuck around. Fifth street was the {K-Diamonds} and both players checked. MacPhee opened his hand and was awarded the pot.

Hand #180: MacPhee opened his button with {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Pauli called with {A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. There were two checks and the {q-Hearts} dropped down on fourth. Pauli bet 350,000 and MacPhee quickly let his cards go.

Hand #181: Pauli held {9-Spades}{5-Spades} on the button and raised to 240,000. MacPhee flatted the big blind with {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

The duo saw {8-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades} fall and MacPhee check-called a bet of 250,000. The turn brought down the {a-Spades} and MacPhee checked for a second time. Pauli took this opportunity to bet 450,000 with his turned flush. MacPhee folded and Pauli won the hand.

Hand #182: MacPhee raised his button with {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and took down the pot preflop.

Hand #183: Pauli made it 340,000 from the button with {9-Clubs}{5-Spades} and took down the pot preflop.

Hands #176-178: Pauli Draws First Blood

Hand #176: Kevin MacPhee and Sebastian Pauli see a flop of {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and both players check to see the {6-Diamonds} hit the turn. Two more checks allow the {6-Clubs} to fall on the river.

Pauli fired 350,000 with {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and MacPhee threw {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} into the muck.

Hand #177: Pauli raised his button with {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and won the pot before the flop.

Hand #178: MacPhee held {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and raised to 400,000 from the button. Pauli looked down at {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} in the big blind and he cut out a three-bet to 845,000. MacPhee folded and Pauli won the pot.

Hand #170: Kevin Killeen raised from the small blind with {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs} to 310,000 and Sebastian Pauli looked at {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} in the big blind. Pauli called and the flop brought out {K-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} on which both players checked. The turn was the {A-Clubs} and Killeen bet 280,000, Pauli called.

On the river the {J-Diamonds} hit and Killeen bet out 635,000 and Pauli went into the tank with top pair. After a while Pauli called and took down yet another big pot to bump his stack up to 12.8 million.

Hand #175: Kevin Killeen raised from the button with {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for all his chips and Kevin MacPhee looked down on {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} with which he made the call.

Killeen was all in for 2,320,000 and MacPhee had him covered by just a few big blinds.

The flop brought out {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Killeen took the lead in the hand. On the turn the {A-Spades} hit and MacPhee needed a queen to knock his opponent out. The river was the {Q-Hearts} and Killeen was knocked out in third place!

The flop came down {4-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Pauli continued for 350,000. MacPhee called and the board paired on the turn with the {4-Clubs}. Pauli checked, MacPhee fired 660,000, and Pauli folded his hand.

Hand #169: Pauli raised to 240,000 from the button with {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Kevin Killeen called from the big blind with {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

The flop fell {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and both players checked to the turn. The dealer put out the {3-Clubs} on the turn and Killeen fired 265,000. The {8-Clubs} finished off the board, completing Pauli's club flush. Killeen checked, Pauli bet 850,000, and Killeen released his cards.

Hand #162: From the small blind Kevin Killeen called with {A-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Sebastian Pauli called in the big blind with {Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}. The flop brought {J-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} and Killeen bet 125,000 and Pauli called.

On the turn the {A-Clubs} hit and Killeen bet 285,000 which put Pauli in the tank before folding his hand.

Hand #163: From the button Kevin Killeen raised with {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} to 250,000 from the button and Kevin MacPhee called with {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. The flop brought out {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Killeen bet 180,000 and MacPhee folded.

Killeen went into the tank for a long time before letting go of his hand and Pauli raked in another pot.

Pauli folded and MacPhee took it down.

The action was checked and Pauli raked in yet another pot.

Hand #157: Action folded to Pauli's small blind and he looked down at {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. He raised the action to 275,000. Kevin MacPhee flatted the big blind with {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {A-Spades} pair the board on the turn.

Two more checks allowed the {8-Spades} to finish off the board. Pauli bet 325,000 and MacPhee called, showing his pair of kings and winning the pot.

Hand #158: MacPhee completed the small blind with {J-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Kevin Killeen checked {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} from the big blind. The flop brought {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades} to the felt and MacPhee bet 120,00 with his two pair. Killeen called.

Fourth street was the {6-Diamonds}, prompting MacPhee to fire 265,000. Killeen let it go and MacPhee took down the pot.

Hand #159: MacPhee found {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} on the button and made the action 200,000 to go. It folded to Pauli's big blind and he peered down at {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. He cut out a three-bet to 550,000 and MacPhee came back over the top with a four-bet to 1.28 million.

Pauli wasted little time five-bet shipping and MacPhee went into the tank. After pondering his action for two minutes and 45 seconds, Pauli called the clock on the American pro.

After about 45 more seconds, MacPhee opted to kick his cards into the muck. Pauli took down the pot and crossed 10 million in chips.
