Silver Tries to Trick Katchalov

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

We just caught the action on the flop when the board read {8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and Eugene Katchalov bet 3,2000 from the big blind. The action was then on Tobias Reinkemeier who tanked for a bit before raising to 8,000. Max Silver was the third player involved and he made the call from the button.

Katchalov looked back down at his cards, hesitated, but then he folded.

Reinkemeier tabled {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Silver showed {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} to split the pot as both players had the nuts.

"I couldn't get him," Silver smiled as Katchalov smiled, because he saved himself quite a lot of chips.

No Chop for McCorkell

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante
Claas Segebrecht - Craig McCorkell
Claas Segebrecht - Craig McCorkell

Germany's Claas Segebrecht just raised under the gun to 900 and from his immediate left it was Craig McCorkell who three-bet to 2,700. The action folded back around to Segebrecht who four-bet to 6,800.

McCorkell made the call and the flop was {3-Spades}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} on which Segebrecht fired out 6,100.

McCorkell made the call and on the turn the {7-Diamonds} hit. Segebrecht put his opponent all in for about 17,000 chips and McCorkell said, "Maybe we'll chop," as he tossed in the remainder of his stack.

Segebrecht: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
McCorkell: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The river was the {7-Clubs} and McCorkell did not chop, as he hit the rail early on during this event.

Strategy Lessons by Litvinov

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante
Artem Litvinov
Artem Litvinov

Artem Litvinov has been talking all day again, and the table is loving it.

Litvinov is giving out free strategy lessons, and things are really working out for those who paid attention. The player in the big blind, according to Litvinov a player who hasn't got much experience and needed some help, was just moved to another table. The player took 80,000 with him, evidence his strategy was working according to Litvinov.

"Remember, aggresive post flop, no before the flop" Litvinov said as final advice to the moving player.

"Can I record? It's too much information. If I record, I can study at home" Sergi Reixach laughed. "Yes, if you pay me some money" Litvinov said with a smile.

Runner Runner Top Two

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Pratyush Buddiga opened for 700 and Artem Litvinov made the call from the small blind. Connor Drinan in the big blind over called.

The flop came {2-Spades}{K-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and everybody checked, and they did on the {A-Clubs} turn as well. Litvinov bet out 1,775 with the {J-Diamonds} completing the board. Drinan made the call, Buddiga folded.

Litvinov showed {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Drinan quietly mucked.

Benny Spindler raised to 700 and Pascal LeFrancois called from the blinds. The flop came down {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} and LeFrancois check-called 900.

On the turn the {10-Diamonds} hit and LeFrancois check-called another 1,800. The river was the {7-Clubs} and this time the Canadian lead out for 3,500.
