Schemion Short

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Jose Carlos Garcia opened the cutoff for 4,200 and Ole Schemion in the big blind was the only caller.

Schemion check called a bet of 5,300 on {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades} and 12,500 on the {J-Clubs} turn.

Both players checked the {K-Spades} on the river and Schemion had to show first.

The German high roller tabled {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs} but that wasn't good enough. Garcia showed {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and took it down.

Muehloecker: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Reinkemeier: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and the Austrian pro doubled through the German.

Vladimir Dobrovolskii & Mikita Badziakouski Late Register Day 2

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Only two players — Vladimir Dobrovolskii and Mikita Badziakouski — opted to late register before the start of Day 2. The former was entering the tournament for the first time, while the later was reentering after having busted Day 1.

It proved a quick affair for Dobrovolskii, who fell 12 minutes into play to Sam Greenwood.

Muehloecker Takes Two Out

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Thomas Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

Tobias Reinkemeier moved all in under the gun for 18,000 chips and the action quickly folded to Mikita Badziakovski in the small blind. The Belarusian moved all in for 48,800 and Thomas Muehloecker tanked for a bit from the big blind before calling to put two players at risk.

Reinkemeier: {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Badziakovski: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Muehloecker: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and the queen on the flop gave Muehloecker the entire pot. Badziakovski, who had re-entered at the start of Day 2, was knocked out within hands of sitting down and Reinkemeier followed his lead to the exit.

Kanit Done In By Team Online's Haxton

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On a flop of {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, back-and-forth action saw Mustapha Kanit get his last 40,000 or so all in from the big blind against Team Online's Isaac Haxton, who was on the button.

Kanit: {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Haxton: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

Both players had flopped top pair, but Haxton's queen kicker had him well out in front. The {J-Diamonds} turn changed nothing, and neither did the {10-Hearts} river. Both players held kings and jacks, meaning the kicker made all the difference.
