The Recently Departed

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Rossiter Gone

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Jeff Rossiter was all in for his last 11 big blinds with {A-} {4-} and an opponent improved with {Q-} {J-} to score the knockout.

Christian Golob has also been losing chips after previously getting back up to 110,000. With the {7-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {J-Spades} {3-Spades} {7-Clubs} board being complete, the Austrian bet 6,500 out of the blinds and snap-folded once he got called.

Updated Counts After Dinner

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Just before the dinner break, Fedor Holz lost 23,500 in chips with pocket aces against the {A-} {K-} of an opponent, when a king appeared on the flop and the river.

Daher and Frank Gone

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Fabrice Soulier was down to as low as 16,000 earlier today and then scored a crucial double up against Christopher Frank. That hand left the German on the short-stack and he bet a flop of {7-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} for 1,400. Ariel Malnik raised all in with his own short stack and Frank called off with {K-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}.

Malnik had {K-Spades} {Q-Clubs} and the {Q-Hearts} turn left the German with only hearts remaining to stay alive. It wasn't meant to be, as the dealer burned and turned the {5-Spades} as final community card.

Albert Daher was eliminated just before the end of the level as well.

Muehloecker Grinding

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Joining a flop of {7-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {J-Hearts}, Thomas Muehloecker called a bet of 1,200 and then checked down the {7-Hearts} turn and the {7-Spades} river. His opponent mucked after he was shown the {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts} by the Austrian and Muehloecker is hovering around half the starting stack. He just got moved to table 2 not long ago and two other notables on said table include EPT 11 finalist Hossein Ensan as well as EPT 10 London runner-up Georgios Karakousis.

The Team PokerStars Sports Star Takes Her Leave

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

We missed the elimination of Fatima Moreira de Melo, but were told she fell after getting her last 17 big blinds all in preflop holding {a-}{k-} against Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki's {10-}{10-}. The tens held and that was all she wrote for the Team PokerStars Sports Star.

Jorgensen Catches Fire

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

It seems Team PokerStars Pro Theo Jorgensen is on the up and up as of late.

In a recent hand, Jorgensen took to social media to explain he three-bet with {j-}{j-} only to get four-bet to 7,000. The player in the small blind called, as did Jorgensen, and three players saw a flop of {2-}{5-}{j-}.

"Only folding if it spikes an {a-} and maybe folding if it hits a {K-}, but don't think so," Jorgensen explains.

The four-bettor ended up moving all in, the small blind folded, and Jorgensen called off his last 15,000 with top set. With that, he shipped the double.

They Keep on Shoving

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

[Removed:17] faced yet another all in of a short stack. This time it was Olof Haglund, who put his last 7,025 at risk on the {8-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {9-Spades} turn. Yan put his glasses back on, studied the board for a few seconds and mucked his cards.

Christopher Frank just revealed in chat that he had yet another {A-Clubs} {K-} versus pocket queens situation and lost that one as well top drop to 15 big blinds.
