Chattaway Sent to the Rail

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Georgios Karakousis opened for 5,000 under the gun and received a call from Christopher Andler. Puglia Giampaolo then three-bet to 16,000, and action folded to Billy Chattaway in the big blind. He moved all in for 21,000 total, all three of his opponents called, and the flop came down {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Karakousis was first to act and simply moved all in, which drove the other two players from the hand.

Karakousis: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Chattaway: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Karakousis flopped top pair, which was just enough to pull out in front of Chattaway's fish hooks. Neither the {2-Diamonds} turn nor {K-Clubs} river helped Chattaway, and he made his way to the exit while Karakousis was pushed the pot.

Marc-Andre Ladouceur Eliminated

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

As we approached table 6 we just spotted Marc-Andre Ladouceur getting up from the table with a disappointed face. Filippo Lazzaretto later told us what had happened.

Thomas Muehloecker limped in early position and Ladouceur raised to 6,000. Lazzaretto three-bet to 16,000 and after Muehloecker folded, Ladouceur shoved all in for about 57,000. Lazzaretto made the call with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and was up against the Team Online's pocket eights.

Lazzaretto hit a queen and send the Canadian packing.

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

No Diamond No Problem

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Zachary Korik moved all in for 26,700 from early position and the action folded to Christian Christner, who had the option on the button. The German eventually announced all in and both players in the blinds folded. Christner had the {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts} and flipped against the {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} of Korik.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} and Korik asked his opponent "You don't havr a diamond there?" to which Christner denied. "That's good," the American said and grabbed the profit.

Pesonen Whamboozled

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Lauri Pesonen had his last 12,700 in the middle before the flop and found no less than three callers.

He could potentially quadruple up but it wasn't meant to be. All three opponents checked the {J-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop and {J-Spades} turn, only for Bjorn Geissert to bet 17,000 on the {8-Diamonds} river. The remaining two players folded and Pesonen and Geissert showed their cards.

Geissert had {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a straight, Pesonen's {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} soon enough landed belly down in the muck. Squadoosh for the Fin.

Ivarsson Busts Celestino

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Alexander Ivarsson
Alexander Ivarsson

Ariel Celestino shoved his last 27,000 in from middle position. Action folded around to Alexander Ivarsson in the small blind and he shoved over the top all in to get the big blind to decide for all of his chips. The big blind's decision was easy it seemed, his cards hit the muck instantly.

Alexander Ivarsson: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}
Ariel Celestino: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The flop came {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Celestino flipped over his cards and started walking away. The {Q-Diamonds} on the turn and the {5-Hearts} on the river couldn't help Celestino anymore and the Brazilian headed for the exit.

The Bulgarian had {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades} and stayed ahead with the board running out {J-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}.
