Margets Eliminated

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Leo Margets
Leo Margets

Leo Margets opened for 4,500 from the cutoff and her neighbor Valentin Messina on the button three-bet to 9,500. Both blinds folded and action was back on Margets who made it 21,500 with about 40- or 50,000 behind. Messina thought for a bit and moved all in, Margets doubled checked her cards and called.

Valentin Messina: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Leo Margets: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The flop wasn't too good for Margets with {8-Spades}{A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The {6-Clubs} on the turn gave her some outs but the {Q-Diamonds} on the river wasn't one of them. Exit for Margets who wished the table good luck.

Action in the Left Corner

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The tables are breaking from high to low and the far left corner still has two tables with some familiar faces remaining.

Hossein Ensan opened from under the gun and found a caller in Noah Vaillancourt to bet the {Q-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} flop for 4,300. On the {8-Spades} turn, Ensan bet again, this time for 5,900 and that did the trick.

One table over, Alen Bilic is attempting to take over the control of the table. After a three-way flop of {K-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades}, Bilic continued for 6,500 and Leo Margets called on the button whereas the player in the big blind check-folded. On the {5-Spades} turn, Bilic's bet of 14,000 was called before Margets surrendered to the third barrel worth 27,500 on the {3-Diamonds} river.

Solyom Pushes Around Jacobson

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The heads-up flop of {8-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} was checked around and Nandor Solyom then check-raised the {5-Spades} turn from 14,000 to 40,800. Jacobson reluctantly called and then folded to the shove of the Romanian on the {A-Spades} river.

Muehloecker Busts in Battle of Short Stacks

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Thomas Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

Thomas Muehloecker three-bet shoved into a raise of Matas Cimbolas for his last 27,000 and the Lithuanian called with {K-} {Q-}. Muehloecker only held {K-Clubs} {10-Clubs} and didn't get there. Cimbolas had a rather quiet day on the felt and is still below average.

Flush vs. Flush, Schillhabel Doubles

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Philip Huxley just got coolered by Stefan Schillhabel when both players managed to hit a flush. When we arrived on the scene the cards were on the table as following.

Schillhabel: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Huxley: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The board showed {6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Huxley was left with just 22,000 chips. A few hands later Huxley got knocked out.

Demiroglu Busts Cohen

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Massou Cohen got his stack in preflop with {10-Clubs} {10-Spades} only to find Serdar Demiroglu look him up with the {K-Clubs} {K-Spades}. The {6-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {6-Spades} {2-Hearts} {5-Clubs} board offered no help and Cohen was gone. Same also applies for the other players below.

"I'm a Luck Box But You're Kitty Kuo"

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Kitty Kuo
Kitty Kuo

Stefano Terziani opened for 4,500 from middle position and EPT Grand Final runner-up Jack Salter called. Kitty Kuo then moved all in for 19,800 from the hijack, and action folded back to Terziani, who took his time before calling.

"I guess I'm all in," Salter said. Terziani didn't seem too happy and folded what he claimed to be nines.

Kuo: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Salter: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

"I am 45%," Kuo said optimistically.

"I'm a luck box, but you're Kitty Kuo," Salter responded.

Kuo was in need of some help, and while she didn't find it on the {8-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, she did when the {Q-Hearts} spiked on the turn.

"Sorry Jack," Kuo offered after the {10-Diamonds} river secured her double.

"Happy to pay you off," Salter said before sending over some chips.

Kamutzki Kaputtzki

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Heinz Kamutzki was seen putting his jacket on and making his way to the exit. Former table mate Marc Etienne McLaughlin told us what had happened.

The player on the button had about a 100,000 and shoved all in to put the pressure on Kamutzki in the small blind and the player in the big blind. Kamutzki called all in for his last twenty big blinds, the big blind folded.

Kamutzki had {A-}{Q-} and was up against {2-}{2-}. The flop brought a {2-} and Kamutzki failed to improve on the turn and river.

November Niner McLaughlin plays around 80,000 himself.

Giguere Gets Value From Vamplew

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On a board showing {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{9-Spades} we saw David Vamplew check to his opponent, Martin Fournier Giguere, who bet 42,800. Vamplew, a former EPT London champ, went into the tank for several minutes before the clock was called on him.

After half of his final minute had passed Vamplew made the call and Giguere showed {3-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a set. Vamplew mucked and his Canadian opponent raked in the pot.
