Muehlocker Versus Logan

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Thomas Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

The action started with Thomas Muehlocker raising to 2,600 from the hijack and getting called by Baden Logan and Nils Lundgren in the blinds.

The flop came down {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and the blinds checked. Muehlocker threw out a 4,400 continuation bet which was met with a snap raise to 15,000 from Logan. Lundgren got out of the way and Muehlocker called a short time later.

Both players checked the {j-Clubs} on the turn before the {8-Spades} completed the board. Logan checked sending Muehlocker into the tank. A minute passed before he slid out 27,500 in chips and watched for Logan’s next move.

Logan counted out the call and had it sitting there for a minute before finally sliding it into the middle. Muehlocker then tabled his {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for two pair which was enough to take down the pot as Logan tossed his cards into the muck.

Graner Busts Holz and Levy in Same Hand

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Adam Levy and Fedor Holz are both out
Adam Levy and Fedor Holz are both out

The action started with a raise to 3,000 by Adam Levy and Stephen Graner flat-called from one seat over before Fedor Holz moved all in for 11,100 from the cutoff. Levy called the 11,100 and Graner then reraised to 27,500. Levy called and they went to the flop of {10-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}.

Levy check-raised all in for what looked like 90,000 and Graner snap-called after having made a continuation bet of 23,000.

Holz: {8-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}
Levy: {A-Spades} {A-Hearts}
Graner: {10-Diamonds} {10-Spades}

Both the {7-Spades} turn and the {2-Diamonds} river bricked and Graner scooped the massive pot, becoming one of the current chip leaders as a result. "Guess I was too greedy, should have just shoved," a disappointed Levy said before exiting the tournament area.

"Please Respect My Raise!"

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Mike Leah
Mike Leah

Felix Kurmayr from Austria opened the hand with a raise to 2,300 from middle position. Mike Leah right next to him made the call. Karen Sarkisyan in the cutoff squeezed to 7,000 with just about 21,000 behind. Georgy Komarov on the button cold four bet to 17,000 and both blinds got out of the way. Initial raiser Kurmayr followed suit and threw his cards into the muck instantly as well.

Leah wasn't so eager to get rif of his hand though, and after some thinking he moved all in for 65,100. Sarkisyan huffed and puffed and then some before eventually folding. Komarov threw his hands in the air out of dispair, before calling with a pained face.

Mike Leah: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Georgy Komarov: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

"Yeah, that made the most sense" commentated table mate Dermot Blain while the two awaited their fate. The {5-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board was good for Komarov and he got pushed the pot.

"Please Respect My Raise!" he said to Leah while stacking his newfound chips. "I put in the last raise, you are the one that didn't respect mine!" Leah said with a wry smile. Leah had just 6,400 left after the hand as Komarov was pushed 58,700 of Leah's former stack.

Leah was all in the next hand and Komarov in the cutoff thought for some time before saying "I help you" while he pushed 6,300 forward. The button and both blinds folded and Leah showed {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Komarov was indeed helping the player he won so many chips off, the Russian showed {8-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

The {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} on the flop was good for Leah, and all fear of an elimination was gone by the time the {Q-Diamonds} landed on the turn. The {10-Hearts} on the river was there just for good measures.

Back up to 14,900, Leah shoved the next hand as well. No callers this time, though the big blinds doubted for a little bit. Leah

Mazunin Doubles Through Baranov

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Mikhail Mazunin had three-bet preflop from the big blind and was called by Sergii Baranov.

Mazunin had around 50,000 behind and moved all in on a flop of {j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Baranov called him and nodded resignedly as he saw Mazunin’s {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and turned over his own {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

The turn {3-Hearts} and river {2-Hearts} doubled up Mazunin and took a chunk of change from Baranov’s stack.
