Fogel Felted

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Georgios Vrakas had raise folded to much sighing a couple hands ago when he faced a shove from Oskar Fogel while sitting on the big blind.

Vrakas did make the call with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} though to put another player at risk. Fogel tabled {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The final board read {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Vrakas rapped the table in celebration again.

Sasek Loses Flip on Feature Table

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

After a raise by Vanessa Selbst, Milan Sasek moved all in for 450,000 from the button and Panagiotis Papaisidorou just called out of the big blind, Selbst let go.

Papaisidorou: {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}
Sasek: {Q-Spades} {A-Spades}

It was a classic coin flip, but the local hero couldn't improve on a board of {9-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {7-Spades} {3-Clubs} to join the rail.

Lebedev knocks out Sotiropoulos

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Georgios Sotiropoulos
Georgios Sotiropoulos

Georgios Sotiropoulos three-bet shoved for his last 245,000 chips with {9-Clubs} {9-Spades} and was called by initial raiser Sergey Lebedev with {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds}. The Russian flopped top pair on {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {10-Spades} and neither the {Q-Spades} turn nor the {8-Hearts} river would save the 2013 runner-up anymore.

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Dylan Linde
Dylan Linde

At the very same time of the double up of Igor Dubinskyy, Dylan Linde was also at risk for 140,000 chips out of the big blind. Initial raiser Andras Nemeth, who had raised to 20,000, called with {K-} {Q-} and rivered a king to better the {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} of the American.

Dubinskyy and Bertilsson Double

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Igor Dubinskyy was all in and at risk preflop for 162,000 with {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts} and faced the {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} of [Removed:413]. There was quite some sweat on the {8-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {4-Spades} board, but the better hand preflop held up.

Oscar Kroon raised to 21,000 and then reluctantly called the all in of Anton Bertilsson for 160,000 with {A-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}. His fellow Swede had {2-Clubs} {2-Spades} and the tiny pocket pair held up on a board of {9-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {9-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {4-Hearts}.

Martin Mulsow is also slightly up in chips and was quite happy about that when we just passed by his table.

Maksoud Busts to Nemeth

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

[Removed:2] had doubled up another short stack by running into kings and then moved all in for 130,000 with {5-Spades} {5-Clubs} only to see initial raiser Andras Nemeth call with {J-Spades} {J-Diamonds}. The {J-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} flop immediately killed all hopes of a comeback and the ]Qs] turn and {8-Diamonds} river completed the board.

George Danzer
George Danzer

From the cutoff, George Danzer was all in for 108,000 with {4-Diamonds} {4-Spades} and Tamer Kamel called with {Q-Diamonds} {A-Spades} out of the big blind. The board ran out {K-Clubs} {7-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {3-Spades} {10-Clubs} and Danzer was sent to the rail in 53rd place. Nonetheless it has been an incredible year for the German with three bracelets at the World Series of Poker and the title of the Player of the Year.

Pavliuk Busts Metais

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Roman Pavliuk had defended his small blind against the raise of Claude Metais from under the gun and the action on the {K-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} flop was unknown. On the {7-Hearts} turn, Pavliuk check-called the all in of Metais for 134,000 with {5-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} for two pair and the flush draw whereas Metais was hoping for another heart to complete his flush draw with {8-Hearts} {10-Hearts}.

The {2-Clubs} on the river was a brick and Metais joined the rail whereas Pavliuk is now member of the chip millionaire club.

Nordmark Busts

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Magnus Nordmark moved all in and picked up one caller, Georgios Vrakas.

Nordmark with {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} had to daodge the over cards of Vrakas holding {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

The final board showed {8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Altman Cracks Aces To Survive

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Brian Altman had got a little short on chips and he moved all in. Andras Nemeth made the call but laid it down when Peter Turmezey isolated with a raise.

Turmezey had {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and it was looking pretty grim for Altman who showed {k-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

A run out of {2-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs} gave Altman an unlikely win to get back in the game.
