James Hartigan was returning from a comfort break and could see from a distance that the dealer on his table was starting to pitch cards.

Hartigan picked up the pace and made a leap to the table reminiscent of Pierce Brosnan bungee jumping off the dam in Goldeneye to manage to salvage his cards before they went into the muck.

Under the gun Manuel Scolaro bet 1,000 and Hartigan called from early position, as did the small and big blinds.

The action was checked to the river after a board of K♥7♠2♥8♣3♣. Scolaro bet 1,200 which got a fold from Hartigan and the big blind, but the small blind called.

Scolaro tabled 9♦7♦ for middle pair, while the small blind mucked her A♥9♥.

The 8♥ landed on the turn and the cutoff bet 2,000. James fired back with a raise to 5,100 and the cutoff shoved for 18,000. James made the call.
