On the river, Ronny Voth checked out of the small blind and his opponent in the cutoff made it 2,900 to go. Voth then squeezed to 8,900 and the player in the cutoff gave it a lot of thought before making the call. Voth showed for a full house and that scooped the pot.

On the turn, Dragoslav Timarac faced the check of an opponent in early position and bet 1,600 from the button. His opponent called and checked again the river. Timarac now bet 3,100 and was eventually paid off to flip over . "Just the nuts?" the opponent asked.
Timarac grinned back. "Just. Why would I bet without the nuts?"
Bahador Azad opened the action and a short stack shoved for eight big blinds. Petr Jelinek then raised from one seat over and Azad reraised with pocket aces to see Jelinek get his stack in with pocket queens. The blank board provided no help and that was it for the Czech.
Marc Radgen, who finished 13th in this event one year ago, has qualified again via PokerStars. Another Marc just entered, Goschel that is. He got into a pot on the turn when his opponent check-raised from 2,100 to 5,100. Goschel called and the river saw the check of the opponent.
