Miles was in relatively good shape with two overcards as the dealer spread the flop. He had picked up a gutshot draw, but the turn changed nothing. However, the hit the river to send the pot to Miles and send his opponent to the rail.

A player in early position opened to 14,000 and Nick Kehren jammed in his stack of around 28,000 in middle position. The small blind called, and so did the early position player.
