The Free Poker Network (FPN) is back in Las Vegas for the FPN Vegas National Championship at the Golden Nugget, which kicks off today with the Royal Court National Championship.
The Royal Court National Championship, which starts at 10 a.m. local time, is a qualifier-only event with 808 qualifiers. Players will begin with starting stacks of 10,000 chips, except for those who have earned additional chips through qualifying events.
The $50 buy-in event will see 30-minute levels with late entry open through level four. The event will award a $12,000 Main Event package and an additional $10,000 in mystery bounties. The top 27 places will be paid.
PokerNews will be live reporting all three events at the Golden Nugget, starting with today's Royal Court National Championship. Additionally, the event will be live-streamed on the FPN YouTube channel.
The series is expected to bring qualifiers from bar leagues all around the country. Last year, Minnesota's Marion Massmann won yet another title for Billy's Bar & Grill in Vergas, one of the most successful bars on the Circuit.
Meanwhile, the FPN's oldest member, Bob Schreiner, spent the series gifting his custom-painted "Wow Girl" rocks to women dealers and players.
