Zerjav Drills Huge Two-Outer to Rail Angelou-Konstas

Level 14 : 2,250/4,500, 550 ante
Big two-outer for Zerjav
Big two-outer for Zerjav

Stephen Chidwick raised to 8,000 second to act and Ioannis Angelou-Konstas called from the cutoff. Blaz Zerjav and Jean-Noel "OscarBrown" Thorel called from the blinds to create four-way action on an {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop.

Three checks brought the action to Angelou-Konstas who bet 9,200. Zerjav check-raised to 36,400, getting rid of Thorel and Chidwick in the process, while Angelou-Konstas called.

On the {j-Clubs} turn, Zerjav ripped it in and Angelou-Konstas snap-called for his remaining 123,217.

Blaz Zerjav: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Ioannis Angelou-Konstas: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Zerjav was drawing to just two outs but drilled the {7-Clubs} river for a huge double and shot up the leaderboard.

Holz Doubles Through Kelopuro

Level 14 : 2,250/4,500, 550 ante
Squeezing the river card on GG
Squeezing the river card on GG

Fedor Holz open-shoved for 61,746 in the small blind and Sami Kelopuro called in the big blind.

Fedor Holz: {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Sami Kelopuro: {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The {3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop was great for Holz but Kelopuro turned a straight draw with the {q-Diamonds}. Utilizing GGPoker's exciting feature, the river was slowly squeezed before the {4-Clubs} brick landed to double the GGPoker ambassador.

Artur Martirosian
Artur Martirosian

One of Russia's hottest stars, Artur Martirosian, has recently entered the $10,300 Super MILLION$ and worked himself up the leaderboard with ease. Martirosian is currently sitting pretty at 420,828 for a spot in the top 10 of the leaderboard.

Recently, Martirosian showed off his live poker prowess as well by shipping EPT Sochi for a payday just shy of 25 million rubles (~$325K). With 852 entrants, the field was up substantially from last year's total of 637, showcasing that poker in Russia despite the pandemic is alive and kicking.

Check how Martirosian conquered the EPT Sochi

Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian raised to 7,920 and Andrea Dato three-bet to 32,040 from the small blind. Demirjian called to see the {2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop appear and called a 23,523 continuation bet as well.

On the {10-Clubs} turn, Dato fired a second shell worth 59,163 and Demirjian stuck around to see an innocuous {2-Hearts} roll off on the river. Dato emptied the clip for 159,076 and Demirjian called all in for 129,079

Dato showed {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and bested Demirjian's {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}, who was forced to the rail as a result.
