Three of the Bubble

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

50 players are left in the event with 47 of them getting a virtual flag in this event.

Runner-Runner for Drinan

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Connor Drinan shoved 259,376 from middle position and got a customer in Matthias Eibinger.

Connor Drinan: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Matthias Eibinger: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Eibinger was a 92% favorite to win after the flop fell {k-Clubs}{a-Spades}{q-Spades} but Drinan escaped through the {7-Clubs} {j-Clubs} backdoor.

Another Scalp for Klodnicki

Level 16 : 8,000/16,000, 2,500 ante
Bruschi running cold
Bruschi running cold

Renan Bruschi went all in for 289,347 on the button and Chris Klodnicki looked him up from the big blind.

Renan Bruschi: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Chris Klodnicki: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Klodnicki caught two kings during the {4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs} rundown and all Bruschi got in the hand was a "Sorry"-emote.

More Eliminations

Level 16 : 8,000/16,000, 2,500 ante

The field is now eight spots off the bubble, although its effect is somewhat diminished in the PKO-format. Big names were among the recent ones to fall, including Nick Petrangelo and Rainer Kempe.

Back-to-Back for Martirosian

Level 16 : 8,000/16,000, 2,500 ante
Martirosian running hot
Martirosian running hot

In back-to-back hands, Artur Martirosian collected bounties by taking out both Pablo Navarro and Krasimir Yankov.

Navarro was the first to fall to the Russian when Martirosian open-shoved on the button with {a-Spades}{4-Spades}. Navarro called all in for about 19 big blinds in the big blind holding {k-Spades}{j-Spades} but didn't pair any of his paint to leave before the money.

In the next hand, there was postflop action between Yankov and Martirosian. After a raise and a call, Martirosian bet 27,522 on an {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades} flop and Yankov called. Martirosian shoved all in on the {j-Spades} turn and Yankov called for a little over a 100K.

Krasimir Yankov: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Artur Martirosian: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

It was a bad turn for Yankov, who caught an inferior two pair. The river was the {q-Clubs} and Martirosian shot up to nearly 900K.

Life for Addamo

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 1,800 ante

Michael Addamo fired five bullets into this event but hasn't been able to get anything going thus far. Down to just 117,460 in chips, he moved all in after Jack Salter had opened, with the Brit snapping him off.

Michael Addamo: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Jack Salter: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Addamo found a much-needed double-up on a {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} board to get back up over 20 big blinds.
